OneWalk Nigeria at a glance
Official description: OneWalk Nigeria is a national cancer awareness movement that brings communities together through organised walks, public education and partnerships to promote cancer awareness, early detection and support for people affected by cancer.
Background: The movement was initiated by Nextwear Technologies Limited, a medical technology company developing affordable wearable devices for early disease detection. Its first featured event is the Akure Walk Against Cancer 2027 in Ondo State.
